Anti-Glare (AG) Film — Glare Control Without Sparkle

GreenBworld manufactures anti-glare film using its proprietary roll-to-roll nanoimprint lithography (R2R NIL) process. By defining haze and surface geometry at the nanometre scale, we remove glare without the sparkle or the loss of clarity that limits conventional particle-coated AG films.

What Is AG Film?

Anti-glare (AG) film carries a fine textured surface that scatters incoming light in multiple directions instead of reflecting it as a single specular image. Because the reflected light is diffused, the mirror image of a lamp or the sun is broken up and screen content stays readable under bright ambient light. AG film is therefore standard in environments where lighting cannot be controlled, such as outdoor kiosks, in-vehicle displays and retail signage.

Why GREEMO AG Film

Sparkle-free
Conventional AG film creates its texture by dispersing inorganic particles in a coating. When those particles interfere with the pixel array, the screen takes on a grainy shimmer known as sparkle, and the effect worsens as pixel density increases. GreenBworld forms the texture by imprinting it from a nano-patterned mould rather than by particle dispersion, so the structure is uniform and does not interfere with the pixel pitch.
Haze tuned to the application
Haze is adjustable from 10 % to 40 % through mould pattern design alone, allowing customers to prioritise either clarity or glare suppression.
Roll-to-roll scalability
Continuous R2R production gives a cost and lead-time advantage over sheet-fed processing.

FAQ

How does AG differ from AR?
AG scatters reflected light to reduce glare; AR lowers the surface reflectance itself. AG suits environments with strong ambient lighting, while AR is preferred where both clarity and low reflectance are required.
What is sparkle?
Sparkle is the grainy shimmer that appears when a particle-dispersed AG film is applied over a high-resolution panel. It results from interference between the film texture and the pixel array.
How should we choose the haze level?
Lower haze favours clarity; higher haze favours glare suppression. We recommend a specification based on your operating environment.
Can we request a sample?
Yes. Please describe your application and target specification in the enquiry form and our team will respond.

GREEMO AG Screen Protector — Readable Even Under Bright Light

Standard clear protector

Light reflects in a single direction, so the lamp image is mirrored straight back at the user and the screen becomes hard to read.

GREEMO AG protector

A nano-textured surface scatters the reflection in many directions, blurring the lamp image and keeping content legible.
